Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for set up, utilizing and operating assigned lathe and/or mill machines and supporting machine procedures for the prototyping and production of machined parts.

We offer a 15% shift differential when working on 2nd shift and a 22% shift differential when working on 3rd shift!

Come Build with Us:

  • Perform set-up and operation of assigned lathe or mill machine/s.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on lathe and/or mill machines as needed and required.
  • Report all deviations in proper machine performance to employee’s direct supervisor, other shop supervisor, and/or Machine Maintenance personnel (when warranted).
  • Advise and consult with direct supervisor, and/or shop supervisor as applicable, for tools and tooling needed to complete projects.
  • Maintain fixtures and set-ups for use in specified projects as assigned by direct supervisor in conjunction with other shop supervisor when applicable.
  • Support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.
  • Inspect and document all operations per TURBOCAM procedures as stated in the Quality Manual as well as per specifications of the product engineer, project manager, and direct supervisor.
  • Interpret blueprints and use various calibrated instruments to check dimensions called out on inspection reports.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Bring Your Expertise:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Experience running CNC lathes and mills.
  • Good math skills.
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and use calibrated instruments to check dimensions preferred.
  • Ability to advance through training matrix.
  • Attention to detail; ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to seek out additional work when time is available.
  • Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 25-50 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.
  • Must be able to climb in and out of small places; crawl around machinery.
