PAY RANGE: $17.50 to $23.50 / hour

Compensation is determined based on your experience and qualifications.

In addition to base pay, you may be eligible for overtime, commission, performance-based increases, and bonuses.

The Grain Systems Construction Specialist oversees the construction, repair, and maintenance of customer grain systems while leading a team dedicated to quality workmanship and safety. This role coordinates with team members to maintain equipment and uphold safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the structures team.

Plan, schedule, and oversee construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects.

Perform and supervise concrete, roofing, welding, and general building repairs.

Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Coordinate with internal departments and outside contractors.

Order materials, maintain inventory, and manage project resources.

Maintain equipment, tools, and company vehicles.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and applicable building codes.

Train and mentor team members while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.

Required Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED required, or an associate degree or technical certification in construction, building maintenance, carpentry, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.

Obtain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with required endorsements (e.g., HazMat, Tanker) within six months of employment and maintain a clean driving record.

Experience in commercial, agricultural, or industrial construction and facility maintenance.

Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, concrete, and general building maintenance.

Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications.

Proficiency in operating and maintaining equipment and machinery.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.

Follow safety and compliance standards to help ensure their well-being and the safety of others.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required for loading and unloading.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Ability to work in various weather conditions, during peak planting and harvesting seasons, and outside of normal hours throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
