Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States.  Our purpose is to create a safe and reliable world and our mission is to deliver assurance through precise technical and professional services.  Well established calibration, testing and inspection services ATS lab located in Bartlett, TN area is seeking a Calibration Technician with a background in electronics (preferred) or mechanical / dimensional calibration experience for a full-time position.  The Calibration Technician will be responsible for the calibration of electronic and mechanical inspection, measuring and testing equipment in lab and in the field at the customers’ location, as needed.   Job Description The Calibration Technician will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves.  The candidate should be a self-starter and should possess good interpersonal skills, therefore excellent verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must.  Candidates must travel on-site to local customer locations and regionally to calibrate a variety of inspection, measuring and testing equipment with 30% overnight travel required.   Electronic / Mechanical Calibration Technician Responsibilities Calibration of electronic and mechanical measuring test equipment such as: AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, voltage calibrators etc.) Micrometers, calipers, gauges, pin gauges, thread plugs, etc. Temperature & Humidity devices (data loggers, hygrometer, environmental chambers, ovens) · Basic knowledge of mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations  QualificationsRequirements High School or equivalent required; associate's in electronic or mechanical related program preferred; or combination of experience and education Candidate should have 1+ years previous experience in electronic equipment calibration; Candidates with experience using electronic and/or physical / dimensional, or mechanical measurement equipment will also be considered. Commercial or Military experience acceptable Position would require driving as well as flying to job sights on occasion. Candidate shall be able to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands and ATS schedule. Overtime and occasional weekend work required. Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds.
