About the Role:
Join the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center Inc. as a Development I Associate, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our mission to alleviate hunger and provide essential services to our community. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Support donor relations by maintaining accurate records and communication.
- Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities.
- Help organize and coordinate community outreach events and initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations to share fundraising progress with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to create engaging marketing materials.
- Monitor and analyze fundraising trends to recommend improvements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, or administrative support.Â
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for community service and commitment to our mission.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
