ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all tasks involved in the production of J.C. Schultz Enterprises, Inc. goods. This includes sewing pieces of material to make them into flags. Follow the standard of work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe.
- Reads and performs work as assigned by department supervisor
- Prepare material (Flag) for trimming, cutting or folding on the table
- Measure and cut the fabric to proper specifications.
- Attach appropriate labels to products when requested
- Place flags in the designated basket for the next department to continue
- Trim excess material or cut threads off finished products, such as cutting loose ends
- Responsible for safety and good housekeeping practices around the work area
- Other duties as assigned
- Production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
QULAIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 - 5 years of work history sewing on industrial machines
- Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit and/or lift for long periods of time throughout the day
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring, cutting, and inspecting fabric
- Time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism
Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
6:00am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday
