As an Big O Tires Automotive Tire Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and performing tire related services, lubrication and flush services, and battery testing and replacement. We are looking for people-first individuals with a desire to work and grow in the automotive services industry in a fast-growing location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires
- Perform tire repairs when appropriate
- Provide exceptional customer service, working directly with customers to explain service options and repair needs
- Performing oil changes and other types of flushes and maintenance
- Test and install batteries
- Inventory stocking
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Participate in training & follow safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18+ years old
- Accountability matters
- Availability to work holidays, Saturdays, and after regular business hours as needed
- Reliable transportation to work
- Willingness to learn new concepts, use required equipment, and prepare and review service documentation
- Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
Work Environment
You will work in a retail operation within the automotive services industry. Work with the latest equipment, tools, and lifts. Work hours will vary but generally include working a combination of weekdays and Saturdays including overtime as needed.
