Maintenance Superintendent- Cooperative Energy, Batesville, MS

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead maintenance operations at Plant Batesville. This position is responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and develop maintenance personnel.
  • Oversee daily maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment reliability.
  • Plan and coordinate outages, weekly work schedules, and maintenance projects.
  • Develop long-term maintenance strategies and reliability improvements.
  • Manage contractors, purchasing, materials, and maintenance resources.
  • Maintain accurate equipment records and work history in the CMMS.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals and provide technical guidance.
  • Develop project scopes, specifications, cost estimates, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
  • Coordinate equipment installations, modifications, and construction projects.
  • Identify training needs and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited) Or
  • Bachelor's Degree Chemical Engineering (ABET Accredited) Or
  • Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering (ABET Accredited) Or

*8 Years of Electric Power Generation Experience may be accepted in lieu of degree plus High School Diploma/GED in addition to the experience listed below.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years Electric Power Generation or Industrial Maintenance Experience And
  • 3 years Supervisory Experience

Certification and Licensures:

  • Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening - Required
  • Valid Driver's License- Required
