We are looking for a skilled, quality-focused team player to support our production operations team.  In the role you will perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of the facility in accordance with standard work.

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Set up welding equipment and position or bracket parts for welding.
  • Perform TIG welding on production parts.
  • Use standard hand-welding techniques to rework defective parts.
  • Adjust welding equipment to achieve the proper heat and accurate weld beads.
  • Inspect welded materials for defects and verify workmanship meets specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is operated safely and effectively.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of completed welds and welded materials.
  • Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

What will you need to be successful?

 

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Welding Certification preferred.
  • 1-3 years of Welding training or experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use various measuring tools such as calipers and other gages.
  • Proficient mathematical and measuring skills.
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
