Sandblaster (Grades 1-4)

Job Description

Pay range for this position is $31.31/hr - $33.22/hr.  

This is an entry level position to work in the Sandblasting Trade.  Applicants may be assigned any S06 Trade tasks, including (but not limited to): blasting, tending, grit removal, set-up of equipment, building tents, machine repair, operation of mobile equipment, and snow/ice removal.     

Required/Preferred Education/Training

Preferred – High School Diploma or GED.

Required/Preferred Experience

Required – Must be able to meet the requirements of the Physical Task Analysis, including working in confined spaces and wearing a respirator. Required – Must agree to participate in Lead/Cadmium testing and monitoring.

Preferred – Experience using industrial blasting or vacuuming equipment.
