As a team member, you will have the chance to contribute to multiple facets of coastal engineering and develop experience supporting the engineering, design, and construction management of large-scale flood control and water resources infrastructure projects. Typical projects include:
- Flood protection structures
- Pump stations
- Levees
- Floodwalls
- Drainage systems
- Associated civil works
This position will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and construction teams to deliver resilient infrastructure for private and public-sector clients.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, design, and analysis of flood control structures, including levees, pump stations, floodwalls, floodgates, and drainage facilities
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical memoranda, and design reports
- Develop and review construction drawings and specifications under the supervision of licensed engineers
- Support construction management activities, including shop drawing review, RFIs, submittals, and field observations
- Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and schedules
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical)
- Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Support quality control and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
