The Opportunity

As Donation Center Operations Manager, you’ll turn community generosity into reliable, trackable support for our mission. You will build and run centralized systems for in-kind intake, documentation, inventory visibility, reporting, and internal distribution across programs.

Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily donation center operations and workflow
- Implement standardized processes for receiving, sorting, tracking, and distributing goods
- Maintain accurate donor receipts, records, and reports using digital tools
- Coordinate distribution with shelter, housing, dining, and essential needs teams
- Ensure safe, organized storage and movement of donated items

Required qualifications/skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, nonprofit management, operations, logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience consisdered
- 3–5 years in operations/logistics/warehouse/retail/nonprofit operations (or related)
- Strong technology proficiency; inventory software experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license; ServSafe Food Handler within 90 days
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in an active, public-facing environment

As the day progresses, you spot bottlenecks, adjust the layout, and keep inventory visibility clean so teams can plan confidently. You wrap up by reconciling counts, filing receipts, and leaving the space reset for tomorrow’s community impact.
