Nurse Technician - RN Student Children's PICU PRN

Are you a current RN student graduating in December 2027? We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Technician to join our PICU team! This opportunity is perfect for an RN student who is passionate about pediatric critical care and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program
Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later
Completion of at least one semester of Medical-Surgical clinicals (not including fundamentals)
In good academic standing with your nursing program
Passion for providing safe, compassionate care to pediatric patients
Strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn

The Nurse Tech performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. The Nurse Tech provides basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADL)s under close supervision of the nurse. Basic patient care and ADLs are defined as: patient bathing, feeding, and preparation for treatment, takes and records vital signs, changes bed linen, prepares treatment trays and other supplies, and assists nursing service personnel with a variety of other patient care duties that they have verified completion of competencies. Relies on establish guidelines to accomplish tasks. The Nurse Tech works under close supervision of the nurse.
