Project Estimator:

The Project Estimator is responsible for calculating costs associated with various civil construction projects, including clearing, access, site preparation, and concrete foundations. Their primary goal is to ensure that projects are economically feasible while meeting the highest standards of quality and safety. In this role, Civil Project Estimators work closely with customers and project teams to prepare detailed cost estimates that guide the planning and execution of construction projects. Key responsibilities include reviewing project plans, analyzing requirements, and using advance software tools to create accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and interpreting project plans and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Conducting site visits to gather data and assess project personnel.
  • Collaborating with owners, engineers, and project personnel.
  • Analyzing project requirements to identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with estimating software such as HCSS or Bluebeam.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
