Job DetailsJob Location: Hospice of Baton Rouge - Main Office - Baton Rouge, LA 70809Salary Range: $45,000.00Position Summary The Hospice of Baton Rouge is seeking an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Full-Time Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the organization's recruitment efforts by attracting, engaging, and hiring qualified candidates who support the mission and values of Hospice of Baton Rouge. This position will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, serve as the primary point of contact for applicants and hiring managers, ensure a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding, and support Human Resources through personnel file audits, electronic records management, and other department initiatives as assigned.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating pre-employment requirements. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and provide updates throughout the hiring process. Develop and post job advertisements while actively sourcing qualified candidates through job boards, networking, employee referrals, educational institutions, career fairs, and other recruitment resources. Build positive relationships with candidates by providing timely communication and delivering an exceptional candidate experience from application through onboarding. Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including employment documentation, orientation scheduling, and collaboration with hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition into the organization. Maintain accurate applicant tracking records and recruitment documentation within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Assist with personnel file audits, electronic records management, and other Human Resources projects to support departmental operations and compliance. Monitor recruitment activity and prepare reports to help evaluate hiring efforts and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required. Work Experience One (1) to three (3) years of recruiting, customer service, human resources, healthcare, sales, or other relationship-focused experience preferred. Healthcare recruitment experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. A customer service mindset with a passion for creating an exceptional candidate and employee experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn HR technology, including Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). The ability to work both independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing priorities. Previous recruiting, customer service, or Human Resources experience is preferred but not required. Other Requirements Valid driver's license, proof of current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required.
