Description
The NeuroMedical Center is looking for an appointment scheduler to schedule patient appointments, coordinate office and diagnostic appointments, and manage physician and staff schedules.
- Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate staff member.
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule or cancel patient appointments by inbound and outbound telephone calls.
- Accept and update medical records, route doucmentes to approprate staff.
- Completes patient appointment request via portal messages or patient cases.
- Enter patient demographics and insurance information in the computer.
- Assist with rescheduling clinics, patient check-out, and department coverage, etc.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and computer skills
- Dependability
- Knowledge of insurance plans
- Prior healthcare experience a plus
- High School diploma required
- Weekdays 8:30 am-5:00 pm
