WATERMARK BR BARTENDER (PT)

Watermark BR, located beautiful downtown, is looking for a part-time bartender, who would report to the Outlet Supervisor and/or Outlet Manager. The Bartender is responsible for the complete setup of the bar area and the mixing of drinks for all guests and servers. Need to maintain the service and cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction and control over liquor inventory.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field prepared.
• Experience in fine dining helpful.

Some of the essential functions of the position include:

• Follow all state liquor laws.
• Assist in maintaining beverage costs.
• Follow prescribed procedures in servicing liquor with care to avoid problems with intoxicated guests, and when necessary report to management.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed, (bottle for bottle method).
• Stock and clean glassware.
• Check soda tanks to ensure that they are full and secured properly to the bar.
• Prepare all garnishes.

Our one of a kind hotel is a part of the Marriott Autograph Collection and boasts of a historic classic design both inside and out. Built as Baton Rouge's first "skyscraper" in the 1927, our iconic building started out as the headquarters for Louisiana Trust & Savings Bank.
