Your Mission-Critical Role

As Warehouse Operations Manager, you’ll turn donated goods into meaningful impact—ensuring items move efficiently and respectfully from intake to the places they’re needed most across our mission. You’ll lead day-to-day warehouse operations with a steady focus on safety, quality, and dignity.

Key responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, drivers, and volunteers; coordinating receiving, sorting, evaluation, and distribution; maintaining quality control and documentation; improving operational systems and inventory tracking; and ensuring appropriate channels for resale, recycling, or disposal.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years in operations/logistics/warehouse/retail/nonprofit operations
- 1–2 years supervising staff and/or volunteers
- Strong technology proficiency; inventory software preferred
- Forklift certification (or obtain within 90 days)
- Valid driver’s license with clean record; able to meet physical demands of a warehouse setting

A Day In Motion

You’ll start by checking dock activity and the day’s workflow, then shift between the floor and the office—answering quick questions, redirecting priorities, and keeping the operation moving when donations surge. Throughout the day you’ll touch base with team members and volunteers, spot-check item flow and space organization, and review tracking notes to keep decisions clear and timely. You’ll also coordinate with store/program partners as loads move out, making sure the pace stays steady and the environment remains safe, orderly, and respectful for everyone who enters the warehouse.
