Are you a team player looking for a fast-paced work environment? We want you to join our dental department as a Dental Assistant! Experience in the medical field is preferred, but not required. Grace Health provides complete on-the-job training that promotes success, advancement , and longevity. Plus, benefits, competitive wages, and no night or weekend shifts. The schedule for this position is 4- 10-hour days per week.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list is not all inclusive.)

  1. Prepares treatment rooms
  2. Seats and dismisses patients
  3. Assists with operative procedure and exams with the dentist
  4. Prepares dental materials
  5. Prepares for and performs sterilization procedures
  6. Prepares tray set-ups
  7. Assists with maintenance and cleaning of dental equipment and supplies
  8. Exposes and appropriately labels radiographs utilizing digital software
  9. Assists with checking the inventory and ordering of supplies
  10. Maintains efficient patient flow
  11. Assists in patient instruction as directed
  12. Participates in OSHA compliance and monitoring
  13. Practices universal precautions

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of experience in the medical field preferred
- Certification as dental assistant preferred
- Radiology certification preferred
