Job Summary:Â
Â
Machine Operator II’s support and operate a variety of advanced manufacturing and inspection processes in a high-precision production environment. This role works more independently than entry-level operators and may perform equipment setups, adjustments, inspections, and basic troubleshooting to ensure parts meet quality, tolerance, and production requirements. The operator collaborates with machinists, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to maintain safe, efficient, and consistent operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Â
Â
• Operate CNC and non-CNC manufacturing equipment used in grinding, slicing, drilling, honing, chamfering, scoring, slotting, finishing, and related processes.
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and parameter adjustments based on assignment and skill
• Monitor production processes to achieve expected rates while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Assist machinists with setup, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards.
• Support training of entry-level operators.
• Perform autonomous maintenance and housekeeping.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:Â
Â
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:Â

- Works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and occasional noise.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and close visual attention required.
1st Shift - Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Weekend Shift - Friday through Sunday 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 pm
1st Shift - 40 hours
Weekend Shift - 36 hours
