Position Summary:  The Quality Control Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to assigned personnel to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

Quality Control Clerk Duties and Responsibilities:
Professionally administers all incoming calls for the purpose of screening or transferring calls, responding to inquiries and/or taking messages.
Assists with processing of documents, forms, mailings and materials (e.g. job data books, ERP system reports, etc.) for the purpose of quality documentation and dissemination of information to appropriate parties.
Establishes and maintains a variety of manual and computerized files and records such as material test reports (MTR’s), retention of welding consumable records for the purpose of providing documentation in accordance with administrative and quality requirements.
Print, organize and release various types of tagging or labeling.
Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Quality Control Clerk Skills and Specifications:
Exceptional verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with G-Suite, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Aptitude to learn and use ERP and other various software.
Solid problem-solving skills.
Able to manage multi-task work in a strong-paced environment.
Able to work with minimal supervision on a broad variety of projects.
Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines when necessary.

Quality Control Clerk Education and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
6 months – 1 year relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Quality Control Clerk Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties Quality Control Clerk, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Quality Control Clerk Work Environment:
While performing the duties of Quality Control Clerk, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
