Job Title: FTR Warehouse Associate

Location: Baxter, TN

Department: Logistics and Warehouse

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Schedule: FTR (12-hour rotating) schedule, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM. Week 1: Thursday–Sunday (4 shifts). Week 2: Friday–Sunday (3 shifts). Pattern repeats every two weeks.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Job Overview:

The FTR Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of tile products during overnight warehouse operations. This role includes handling tile materials, preparing orders for delivery, and maintaining the warehouse environment to ensure safety and organization. This position works a fixed 12-hour overnight rotation (FTR schedule), alternating between a 4-day and 3-day work week every other cycle. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse setting, attention to detail, comfort working overnight hours, and the ability to handle heavy materials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving and Storing Products:

â—‹ Unload incoming shipments of tiles and other materials using forklifts or pallet jacks.

â—‹ Inspect received goods to ensure accuracy and quality.

â—‹ Organize and store tiles in the designated areas, ensuring that products are labeled correctly and stored safely.

2. Order Picking and Packing:

â—‹ Accurately pick and prepare tiles for customer orders based on packing lists and orders.

â—‹ Pack and palletize tiles for shipment, ensuring that materials are secured to prevent damage during transportation.

â—‹ Use appropriate equipment (forklifts, hand trucks) to move heavy pallets and tiles.

3. Inventory Management:

â—‹ Assist with regular inventory counts to ensure stock levels are accurate.

â—‹ Track and update inventory records using warehouse management software.

â—‹ Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or low stock levels to the Warehouse Manager.

4. Loading and Unloading:

â—‹ Safely load and unload delivery trucks with tile shipments, ensuring that the right orders are being dispatched.

â—‹ Verify shipping documents to ensure accurate and timely shipments.

â—‹ Collaborate with the logistics team to manage inbound and outbound deliveries, including overnight shift handoffs.

5. Warehouse Maintenance:

â—‹ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

â—‹ Follow all safety procedures, including the proper handling of heavy materials, equipment, and tiles.

â—‹ Regularly inspect equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.

6. Health and Safety Compliance:

â—‹ Follow company safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

â—‹ Adhere to occupational health and safety guidelines to reduce the risk of workplace injuries.

â—‹ Ensure that tiles and other materials are stored in a way that prevents accidents or damages.

7. Collaboration with Teams:

â—‹ Work closely with the sales, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.

â—‹ Communicate with the Warehouse Manager to resolve any issues related to stock, orders, or shipments.

â—‹ Coordinate effectively with day-shift and adjacent-shift teams to ensure continuity across the FTR rotation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (forklift certification is a plus).

• Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures.

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 70 lbs or more).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work overnight hours and adapt to the FTR rotating schedule (12-hour shifts, alternating 4-day/3-day work weeks).
