Dietary Aide - Nursing Home


Join our compassionate team as a Dietary Aide at our respected nursing home, where we prioritize the well-being and comfort of our residents. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a caring environment by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring residents receive nutritious, well-presented meals in a warm and friendly setting.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual care plans

- Ensure that all food is stored, handled, and served in compliance with safety and sanitation standards

- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food service equipment

- Support residents during meal times, providing assistance as needed to promote independence and dignity

- Document meal service and report any dietary concerns or special needs to the nursing staff

- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff


Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior experience in food service, healthcare, or a similar setting preferred

- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines for seniors

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
