Main Activities

 

Purpose

Performs mechanic and electric inspections, diagnosis and corrective actions autonomously, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards.

Main Activities

- Performs general mechanic or electric inspections, diagnosis, repairs and replacements autonomously.
- Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
- Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root cause and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
- Performs mechanic and electric activities such as electrical engines repairs and circuit analysis, PLC programs loading, equipment alignments or low voltage panel replacements.
- Monitors alarms in PLC cycle.
 - Interprets electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Carries out crane inspection, diagnosis and repair.
 - Disassembles and assembles mechanical components.
- Executes maintenance plans.
 - Carries out equipment oiling and centralized lubrication control autonomously.
- Executes machine lock outs and tag outs.
 - Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications.
- Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
- Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.
