Job Description:
SUMMARYLeads Intermediate to complex impact projects across multiple departments or business units; frequently leading more than one project at a time. This role is responsible for strategic planning, execution, and delivery of projects that align with organizational goals. This experienced leader mentors junior project managers, manages stakeholder relationships at many levels, and ensures consistent application of project management best practices. This leader supports major areas of Finance by providing leadership, counsel, and guidance for intermediate to complex initiatives through ideation, detail design, development, testing, implementation, and stabilization. Initiatives may contain known, visible risk, high senior leader visibility, cross-functional or functional projects which cross business processes and/or business divisions. Responsible for ensuring finance capabilities and systems delivered meet aligned enterprise finance, compliance and architecture standards, leverage best practices and are implemented within a system of strong internal controls and according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the planning and execution of divisional, functional or high-priority projects impacting Finance. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Manage functional or cross-functional teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage changes to project scope and schedule. Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, standard tools, and templates. Creates and maintains (where applicable). Seeks and responds to feedback in a mature professional manner. Conducts post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned. Drive process improvements and contribute to strategic planning initiatives. Accountable for the successful implementation of the outcomes derived through organizational change management, business case and benefits management, stakeholder management, risk management and issue resolution.
Coach and mentors project subject matter experts / designers and team members in a timely, professional manner. Holding them accountable to delivering project milestones on-time and in a quality manner. Performance concerns must be handled according to Company policy and should include employees’ direct line operational management.
Manages the relationship with business process owners, operational experts, project sponsor(s) and key stakeholders, in a mature, unemotional manner, to ensure collaboration, common agreement / alignment of scope, timeline, deliverables and trade-offs from project ideation through closure. Lead the resolution of escalated issues, timely and appropriately.
Participate in the development of a strategic vision for Finance independently or as part of the enterprise Strategic Planning efforts. Includes but is not limited to capability mapping, assessments of all capabilities in the areas of efficiency and effectiveness, smart / intelligent automation and complexity / simplification. Strategic thinking beyond one’s subject matter expertise, with the purpose of the advancement of Finance as a whole. Provides work direction and performance feedback to functional process designers and project managers on complex functional or cross-functional projects.
When leading a project, they are responsible for securing and managing all internal and external resources (people, capital, tools & templates) to effectively support & deliver project objectives. Responsible for escalating all / any issues to appropriate functional leadership as well as project stakeholders and executive sponsors, where appropriate Mediate conflict and uncover hidden or unspoken issues and concerns that teams may be reluctant to share.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
BS in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Admin, or related field.
10 or more years of related experience and/or training. 5-7 years project management experience, or equivalent.
Project Management Certification (PMP) required.
Advanced understanding of the most complex enterprise accounting practices, processes, and principles 10 years of supporting and leading transformation initiatives.
 Experience with leading or implementing financial business process changes, at a divisional or functional level.
Strong packaging and presentation skills of enterprise solutions with the ability to ‘tell the story’ and to express finance and project technical concepts in business terms.
Experienced facilitator with expertise in leading individual work groups and high-performance teams. Mastery of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana).
Experience with all Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated professional and mature conflict management skills in an unemotional manner.
Demonstrated the ability to manage expectations across all levels of employees
COMPENSATIONÂ

Pay Range:

**PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
