Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team full time working a Sunday through Thursday schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles and practices of physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. 

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations, taking into consideration their medical history and physician recommendations

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals

- Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation

- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on proper home exercise programs and self-care techniques

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations

- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current on best practices in the field of physical therapy 

- Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements

Requirements

- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist 

- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds

- Knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and modalities

- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
