Job Summary

We are seeking a Manager, Warehouse Network Operations to lead the performance and strategic optimization of our third-party warehouse network across North America. This role manages approximately twenty external warehouse providers and serves as the primary business owner for warehouse operations, service, cost, and performance.

The position partners closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Transportation, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Care, and Commercial teams to ensure inventory is positioned effectively, warehouse partners meet service expectations, and total logistics costs are optimized.

This role is ideal for a hands-on supply chain professional who combines strong 3PL relationship management with analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and a continuous improvement mindset.


Primary Responsibilities

  • 3PL Network Management: Own relationships with third-party warehouse providers, monitor service levels and KPIs, lead business reviews, and resolve operational issues
  • Network Optimization: Evaluate warehouse locations, capacity, utilization, inventory positioning, and customer demand to support an efficient North American distribution network
  • Contract & Cost Management: Partner with Procurement on RFPs, pricing, contract renewals, provider selection, and cost-reduction opportunities
  • Inventory & Operations: Support inventory accuracy, replenishment, stock transfers, cycle counts, warehouse capacity, and product transitions across the network
  • Financial Oversight: Review warehouse invoices and operating costs, resolve billing discrepancies, monitor budget performance, and identify savings opportunities
  • Analytics & Continuous Improvement: Develop performance metrics and dashboards, analyze operational trends, and lead initiatives that improve service, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, or supply chain
  • Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) or external warehouse providers strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of warehouse contracts, inventory management, network optimization, and operating costs
  • Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; SAP and Power BI or similar reporting experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills with the ability to influence across functions and external partners
  • Chemical manufacturing, industrial products, or similarly complex distribution experience preferred
