The Equipment Operator, reporting to the Director of Laundry Operations, is responsible for operating and maintaining a minor tunnel, Softrol soil rail system, and Milnor dryer systems.  This role is expected to monitor computer systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective production of laundry operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate and monitor the minor tunnel, Softrol soil rail system, and Milnor dryers according to established procedures.

• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance as needed.

• Monitor computer systems to track the progress of laundry batches through the tunnel and dryer systems.

• Adjust settings as necessary to achieve optimal results in terms of cleanliness and dryness of laundry.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs or escalate to maintenance team as required.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Fluent in English; Bilingual a plus

• Proven experience in operating industrial laundry equipment preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in operating industrial laundry equipment preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software programs quickly.

• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in an operations environment with odors and/or dust and cleaning and laundry chemicals. Additionally, this job operates in a professional office environment routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, faxes, and filing cabinets.

The is not limited to the above-mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.

Physical Requirements:

This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching,  occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions. Employee must be able to perform the

essential functions of the position satisfactorily, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job.
