Perricone Farms is seeking a Seasonal Forklift Operator to join our production and warehouse team. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on seasonal work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in material handling, staging, and the safe movement of products throughout the facility. Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour Shift / Hours: 3rd Shift; Monday – Saturday 11:00 pm. to 7:30 am; Rotating days off, with 2 days off during the week Seasonal: January through June, with a possibility to return in the fall/winter   Key Responsibilities: As a Seasonal Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for: Operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move raw materials and finished goods Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently Staging product for production and shipment Wrapping and securing pallets for transport Supplying production lines with necessary materials Transporting 55-gallon drums and other materials as required Performing routine forklift inspections and reporting maintenance needs Maintaining accurate inventory movement records Keeping warehouse and production areas clean and organized Following all safety procedures and traffic patterns within the facility   Drug Free Workplace & Safety Expectations: Adhere to all company policies and standard operating procedures Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Notify supervisors of any irregularities, safety concerns, or equipment issues Comply with all OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF requirements Support ongoing food safety, quality assurance, and non-GMO compliance efforts Participate in audits and the annual review of the Food Safety Management System   Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Shift Manager.   Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous forklift or warehouse experience preferred Valid forklift certification or ability to become certified Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong attention to safety and detail   Work Environment: Exposure to moving machinery, wet/humid conditions, and variable temperatures; may be exposed to chemicals, airborne particles, and loud noise levels.
