Senior Quality Technician / CMM Programmer

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

Are you passionate about precision, problem-solving, and continuous improvement? Centro Inc. is looking for a Senior Quality Technician / CMM Programmer to join our Quality team. In this role, you'll work alongside Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customers to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards while playing a key role in new product launches and process improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CMM programming experience, blueprint reading skills, and a strong quality mindset who wants to make a real impact.

What You'll Do

  • Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Perform dimensional inspections on production and prototype parts
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
  • Develop and maintain inspection plans and measurement documentation
  • Support new product launches and PPAP/ISIR activities
  • Analyze inspection data and communicate findings to Engineering and Production
  • Calibrate inspection equipment and maintain measurement systems
  • Investigate quality concerns and assist with corrective actions
  • Train and mentor Quality Technicians on quality tools and best practices
  • Partner with Engineering to improve manufacturing processes and product quality

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Experience operating and programming CMM equipment
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
  • Manufacturing or quality assurance experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with quality tools, SPC, Microsoft Office, and inspection equipment
  • The ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of Quality or Manufacturing experience
  • CMM programming experience
  • ASQ Certification (CQI, CQT, or similar) or willingness to obtain
  • Experience supporting new product development, PPAPs, and customer quality requirements
