Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Master Test Technician. This on-site position that is based out of our Beaver, PA Eaton location and offers benefits from day one. No relocation or sponsorship is offered for this role.Â
The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000Â - $101000Â a year. Â

What you’ll do:
The main responsibility for this role is to conduct mechanical and electrical testing to meet the demands of Eaton’s engineering departments to achieve product development, sustainment, and certification goals. This position will perform functions necessary to support product development and maintenance of line activities which include assembly of products and test setups. Additional requirements will be to help maintain lab test equipment, track test request status, and samples. This position will need to support all EHS requirements and 5S initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:Â
- Conduct various electrical tests in accordance with UL, CSA, IEC and NEMA standards for electrical distribution products, as required, to meet the product development and sustaining testing demands. Maintain knowledge of applicable IEC, UL, and NEMA testing standards.
- Record accurate test data on standardized forms for delivery to the project engineer.
- Assist in the repair and replacement of test fixtures and maintain an active list of test fixtures on hand to meet the demands of the engineering department.
- Contribute to organizing and maintaining lab 5S environment to meet goals and to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of safety requirements.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time to increase the efficiency in the lab and provide engineering on time test results.
- Share knowledge with other technicians as necessary to improve technician pool’s core knowledge and capabilities.
- Complete additional assignments or tasks requested by manager.
- Conduct pre and post calibrations, run dielectric/thermal testing.
- Circuit configurations, and vibration testing.
Qualifications:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
- Electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical and software aptitude is required.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Â Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the specified job location will be considered. Â Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient with MSOffice for test documentation and analysis.
- Familiarity with certification bodies such as UL, CSA, IEC and NEMA.
