Responsibilities & Requirements

The Nuclear Medicine Tech performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. This role ensures patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality imaging while providing compassionate care and clear communication throughout the procedure. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Associate degree in nuclear medicine technology or closely related field from an accredited program.Clinical experience in nuclear medicine technology through an accredited educational program or equivalent clinical training.Current Ohio license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 4773). Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology or a related health science field. One or more years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting.
