Job Position Description:
Are you a seasoned early childhood professional with a passion for leadership, workforce retention, and equitable access to care? Community Action is seeking a CCR&R Coordinator (Child Care Resource & Referral) to join our Leadership Team. In this role, you will supervise and coach a dedicated team while partnering with community organizations to build a robust, culturally responsive early learning network that serves children farthest from opportunity. The starting salary rate for this position is from $1,040 - $1,360 per week.

Abbreviated Duties List:
- Provide direct supervision, onboarding, and reflective supervision to assigned staff, fostering a culture of learning, goal-setting, and professional growth.
- Develop efficient operations and monitoring systems to ensure all activities align with grant agreements, contracts, and funder requirements.
- Build trusting relationships with child care programs and community partners, providing data and statistical awareness regarding the early learning sector.
- Implement innovative strategies to increase infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age child care capacity across the county.
- Oversee professional development opportunities, training evaluations, and technical assistance in accordance with Oregon Registry Standards and the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct.
- Partner with culturally specific organizations to recruit diverse providers and work alongside regional hubs to reduce expulsions and suspensions in early education settings.

Abbreviated Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or related field (Child Development, Human Development, Elementary Education, Human Ecology, Home Economics, Family and Consumer Studies, Child and Family Studies, Education and Special Education) or Step 10 on the Oregon Registry with a minimum of three years of successful work experience within the profession including working with children and supervision of staff. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proven ability to assign, coordinate, and supervise the work of others while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, backed by public speaking experience.
- Intermediate computer skills, including experience using and managing databases (data manipulation and reporting) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the Oregon Registry System and professional development pathways for early educators.
- Enrollment in Oregon Central Background Registry prior to offer of employment being extended.
- Requires a valid Oregon driver's license, proof of auto insurance for private vehicle, and access to reliable transportation.

What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Bilingual English/Spanish, written and verbal.
- Experience in Early Childhood.
- Knowledge of and experience working in family child care or Oregon's Quality Rating Improvement System (Spark).
- Oregon Registry approved Master Trainer.
