Pay: $26.00/hr - $29.00/hr

Access Community Care is seeking an experienced, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead our HR operations and help foster a positive workplace culture. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day operations while making a meaningful impact in the lives of employees and the individuals we serve.
As our Human Resources Manager, you will oversee recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR systems while partnering with leadership to support organizational growth and employee success.
What You'll Do
- Lead all recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation activities.
- Manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and annual open enrollment.
- Maintain employee personnel files, HR records, and HRIS systems.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as ODHS/ODDS regulations.
- Support employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
- Maintain and update employee handbook, policies, procedures, and job descriptions.
- Assist with performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions, and employee relations matters.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims and workplace injury reporting.
- Lead HR and administrative projects, including audits, system implementations, office improvements, and agency recertifications.
- Provide office management support to maintain an organized and efficient workplace.
- Partner with agency leadership to develop HR strategies that support organizational goals.
- Complete 12 hours of leadership training annually.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent HR experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
- Experience with payroll processing and HRIS systems.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must successfully pass all required background checks.
