WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role partners closely with Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sport Dimensions, Finance, Data Operations, and senior leadership teams to align on a single demand plan that drives investment, capacity, inventory, and service decisions across the business.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is looking for a strategic and analytically driven demand planning professional who combines deep forecasting expertise with strong cross-functional influence. The ideal candidate excels at translating complex market dynamics, product lifecycle changes, and business objectives into clear, actionable demand signals. • Proficiency with demand planning systems such as SAP IBP, SAP APO, or similar enterprise planning platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will own Air MI's end-to-end demand signal, translating market intelligence, product strategies, and statistical forecasts into actionable planning guidance that supports manufacturing, supply planning, and business decision-making. You will drive cross-functional alignment around a single demand plan while continuously improving forecasting accuracy, visibility, and planning effectiveness.

  • You will develop and maintain demand forecasts across long-range, annual, and short-term planning horizons, ensuring alignment between strategic and operational demand signals.
  • You will partner with Sport Dimension teams to understand product introductions, lifecycle transitions, volume shifts, and marketplace opportunities that influence future demand.
  • You will lead monthly demand review and S&OP/SIOP processes, building executive-ready demand narratives and facilitating alignment across stakeholders.
  • You will translate consensus demand plans into actionable requirements for Supply Planning, providing clear assumptions, risks, and scenario-based recommendations.
  • You will monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and forecast value-add metrics, conducting root-cause analysis and driving corrective actions to improve planning performance.
  • You will apply segmentation strategies and forecasting methodologies appropriate to different product lifecycles, demand patterns, and portfolio complexities.
  • You will partner with Data Operations and analytics teams to enhance demand planning tools, improve data quality, and evaluate advanced forecasting capabilities that increase business value.
