Job Description: As a Solutions Software Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of our software solutions with customer hardware SoC/IoT systems. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to provide valuable product feedback and serve as a liaison between customers and engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the sales team, managing customer-specific projects that integrate our hardware modules and Express software on Android and future Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrate customer support software with our solutions.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software and hardware integration.
Collaborate closely with engineers to provide product feedback and improvements.
Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
Develop, support, and demonstrate proof of concepts using our hardware development kits.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Support customer visits and trade shows as requested.
Provide voice of the customer input for prioritization and road mapping.
Willing to travel internationally ~25%

Qualifications:

BS or MS (BS) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related.
Minimum 3 years of Software development experience.
Proficiency in C coding for embedded systems.
Experience in software and hardware integration and customer support.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams across different time-zones.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent documentation skills.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in consumer audio product design, especially in TV, mobile phone, or set-top box (STB) applications, including Dolby decode, is advantageous but not mandatory.
Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
Familiarity with programming hardware development kits and IoT/SoC devices.
