WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role reports to the Director, North America Supply Chain and Inventory Controlling and leads a PHK-based team located in Beaverton, Oregon. As part of a highly connected Finance and Supply Chain organization, this leader partners across Global and North America Controlling, Financial Governance and Compliance (FG&C), Inventory Management, Operations, Technology, and internal and external audit teams to strengthen inventory stewardship and enable scalable growth across Nike’s distribution network.

Working across functions and geographies, the Senior Manager serves as a trusted partner who brings together financial rigor, operational excellence, and strong governance practices. They play a critical part in advancing inventory control capabilities, supporting business transformation, and helping Nike scale for the future.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our team is seeking a strategic leader with expertise across finance, operations, and supply chain. This individual brings deep experience in inventory controls, financial reporting, risk management, and operational excellence, along with a proven ability to lead teams and stakeholders through change.

The ideal candidate is a trusted partner who builds alignment across functions, influences stakeholders at all levels, and translates business needs into scalable control solutions. They combine strong accounting and audit expertise with business and operational acumen to identify risks, support sound decision-making, and strengthen inventory governance across a complex and evolving network.

As the Senior Manager, you are committed to continuous improvement, developing high-performing teams, and advancing capabilities that enhance visibility, efficiency, and control effectiveness. They demonstrate strong judgment, a growth mindset, and the ability to balance operational needs with financial and compliance requirements while delivering results.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting, accounting, finance, or related functions; experience within a large multinational public company preferred

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) principles, and information technology general and automated controls; Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is a plus

  • Proven ability to assess financial risks across end-to-end supply chain operations while leading strategic initiatives, fostering stakeholder alignment, and supporting organizational transformation

  • Ability to travel domestically 10-20% of the time

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will lead the evolution of inventory control capabilities across Nike’s North America supply chain network. By combining leadership, operational insight, and financial expertise, you will strengthen governance, develop talent, improve processes, and help build the next generation of inventory control capabilities that support business growth and financial integrity.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Inventory Control team, setting priorities and providing direction to deliver consistent execution across a broad portfolio of inventory control activities.

  • Oversee an Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR)-compliant inventory control environment, ensuring audit-ready execution and proactive risk management across the North America distribution network.

  • Partner closely with Global and North America Controlling, Financial Governance and Compliance (FG&C), Inventory Management, Operations, and Technology teams to strengthen inventory governance and operational effectiveness.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex and non-routine inventory control matters, balancing operational realities with financial reporting and compliance requirements.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with Finance leadership, internal audit, and external audit partners to support transparency, strong controls, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives that improve inventory accuracy, strengthen decision-making, and enable scalable solutions across an expanding supply chain network.

  • Advance the maturity of Nike’s inventory control framework by identifying opportunities to improve processes, mitigate risk, and support future network growth and business transformation initiatives.
