Our Beaverton Recovery Center (BRC) is a state-of-the-art facility providing critical withdrawal management and sobering services to individuals experiencing substance use crises. You’ll work closely with the Nurse Manager, Licensed Medical Practitioners, Certified Medical Assistants, Recovery Mentors, and multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care in a trauma-informed environment. This is a hands-on nursing role where strong assessment skills, calm decision-making, and compassionate care truly matter. What You’ll Do Provide Direct Patient Care Conduct admission screenings and nursing assessments Monitor withdrawal symptoms, patient stability, and ongoing progress Administer medications and follow individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Respond to Emergencies & Critical Needs Recognize and respond appropriately to crisis situations Coordinate with Licensed Medical Practitioners when patient conditions change Support safe transitions to higher levels of care when needed Collaborate with the Care Team Work alongside CMAs, Recovery Mentors, and clinical teams to support patient outcomes Participate in case reviews, treatment planning, and care coordination meetings Help maintain safe, compliant, and effective treatment environments Support Sobering Services Provide medical monitoring for acutely intoxicated individuals Ensure patient safety and stabilization within the sobering setting QualificationsWhat You Bring Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR Associate’s Degree in Nursing + additional nursing experience Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare preferred Understanding of ASAM criteria and behavioral health interventions preferred Licensure & Certifications Current Oregon RN or LPN license RN required for Sobering services BLS Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) Crisis Prevention Training (within 90 days) Valid driver’s license if driving is required Skills & Strengths Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment abilities Knowledge of substance use withdrawal syndromes and addiction treatment principles Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams Calm, compassionate approach in high-acuity situations Strong communication and documentation skills   Who Thrives Here?
