JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Supports and executes activities related to the investment management process as well serving as a resource to Administrators and clients.
Essential Functions

- Prepares account reviews and provides account recommendations in coordination with Trust Officers
- Trust Investment Committee member
- Prepares periodic quality reviews of equity holdings
- Develops specific asset allocations for individual clients in collaboration with assigned Trust Officers
- Constructs investment portfolios and coordinates the execution of trades as required
- Executes periodic rebalancing trades for client accounts to ensure consistency with states investment objective
- Addressing specific challenges within client portfolios such as asset concentrations and liquidity needs
- Maintains lists for preferred buys, potential sales, and other analytical data
- Validates trades have properly executed
- Addresses securities notices as received (reorg, etc.)
- Supports Trust Officers in meeting with clients regularly to review the performance of portfolios and to understand changing client circumstances that could impact the construction of the portfolio
- Performs individual account analysis
- Maintains and communicates research information
- Helps to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
Other Duties
- Support Trust Officers in new business development and client retention
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility
Work Environment
This job operates in an office setting, the opportunity to telework is not available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.
Physical Demands
This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
Travel
Travel within Bank footprint may be required for this position.
Education and Experience
- College degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in investment management positions.
- Knowledge of trading and trust accounting process along well as familiarity with basic word processing and spreadsheet applications.
