The Quality Manager identifies the appropriate quality standards of products, develops methods and techniques for quality testing, and oversees the execution of quality assurance testing methods. This job description indicates the general nature and level of the work that is expected. It is not designed to contain a comprehensive or all-inclusive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities. Â
The Quality Manager:
1. Reviews documentation acceptance or rejection records, test results, and inspection data and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance of quality standards.
2. Reads work orders and interprets blueprints, sample data, and product specifications to develop appropriate quality standards, inspection criteria, and effective testing methods.
3. Plans work schedules, assignments, and inspection sequences that will ensure production goals are met, submits reports of inspections, test findings, and production results to management for review and other required responsibilities.
4. Travel is 50% - U.S. Passport required.
