2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm (M-F)Ā

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:Ā 
This position works under the supervision of the Manufacturing Manager and/or Plant Manager and/or shift manufacturing supervisor as needed. Duties are performed without constant supervision. Assignments are madeĀ dailyĀ and results are reviewed daily.Ā

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:Ā 
• High school diploma or general equivalent diplomaĀ 
• Minimum of 5Ā years experienceĀ in a Mfg. settingĀ 
• Minimum of 3 years in all Braze or Machining dept. as team leadĀ 
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and communicate with leaders, manager, supervisors and coworkersĀ 
• Forklift operator license requiredĀ 
• Computer experience required (Microsoft products and SAP preferred)Ā 
• People leadership skillsĀ 
• First aid / First responder training will be required for this roleĀ

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:Ā 
• Safety: Perform pre-operation checks for machines. Perform safety inspectionsĀ requiredĀ for individual production machines and associated equipment. Perform review ofĀ operatorsĀ safety checks and ensure overall department safety is always theĀ first priority.Ā 
• Production: Safely train, plan, direct, schedule, and check the work in the Braze & Machining departmentsĀ on a daily basis.Ā 
• Work with engineering, management, maintenance supervisor, vendors, and braze/machining employees to review and solve problems.Ā 
• MonitorĀ Braze/Machining orders to continually improve operations and quality of parts.Ā 
• MaintainĀ complete andĀ accurateĀ records.Ā 
• Perform all other duties within areas of responsibility, when necessary.Ā 
• Perform all required dutiesĀ regardingĀ inspections, qualityĀ auditsĀ and safety audits.Ā 
• ProblemĀ solveĀ all areas of Braze/Machining operations.Ā 
• Quality: Inspect parts and ensure others inspect and produce parts to meet established ISO requirements.Ā 
• Delivery: Process shop orders to meet established due dates.Ā 
• Cost: Responsible for tracking and problem solving of the materials used and efficient equipmentĀ useĀ to reduce cost.Ā 
• Inventory: Responsible for cycle counts and management of WIP and components.Ā 
• Lean:Ā ParticipateĀ in andĀ utilizeĀ lean processes in daily duties.Ā 
• TPM: Perform and ensure others perform dailyĀ requiredĀ TPM on associate equipment.Ā 
• 5S: Perform and ensure others perform dailyĀ requiredĀ 5S review of areas.Ā 
• Metrics: Perform daily activities associated with gathering and posting established metrics.Ā 
• Data: Accurate andĀ timelyĀ recording of required data in SAP including operating entry (ieĀ Production, qualityĀ etc).Ā
