Overview

Job Summary

Ā 

Working under general supervision, and utilizing simple tools or fixtures, this position is responsible to perform production operations as defined by: visual aids, assembly drawings, and written or verbal manufacturing instructions.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Assembles, disassembles, or performs process steps on our products
  • Achieves quality and productivity according to established standards
  • Routes finished products to their designated location
  • Processes accurate inventory transactions
  • Perform routine inventory cycle counts
  • Maintain ā€œ5Sā€ standards for their work area
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities

Networking/Key Relationships

  • To be determined based on department needs

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • High School degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 0-2 years applicable experience in a manufacturing or equivalent environment preferred. Equivalent is understood as having performed similar tasks, utilized similar tools and equipment, and worked towards defined quality and productivity standards. Other industry experience and transferable skills/experience may be considered.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to follow English written and verbal procedures.

Must be able to detect, identify and inspect scientific data. The employee will be required to stand and/or walk up to 8 hours per day and/or sit for up to 8 hours per day.Ā  Must be able to use hands to feel objects, including molded parts and electronic components. .Ā  May need to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.Ā  Will be required to talk and hear and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Ā  May occasionally have to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Ā  The noise level in the work environment will vary but is usually moderate.Ā  This position is very active and requires varying levels of mobility.Ā
