This role serves as a trusted advisor to the sponsor, working closely with operational users, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to shape innovative, mission-relevant, and Government Reference Architecture (GRA)-compliant solutions. This role will also contribute to the development and execution of modeling and simulation capabilities to verify operational capabilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong systems engineering and architecture background, proven leadership experience, and the ability to develop future-ready designs that enable rapid technology insertion and upgradability.
Key responsibilities will require:
- Develop and recommend GRA-compliant solutions and roadmaps from complex operational and technical requirements and capability roadmaps.
- Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to architect systems and solution frameworks that support rapid future upgrades, modularity, and long-term adaptability.
- Define and assess EW capabilities to support future procurement strategies and mission requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the sponsor on EW architecture, capability development, and key technical tradeoffs.
- Define and execute modeling and simulation events to verify system performance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
