The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building as much as operating. As Spryte Medical continues to grow, you'll play a key role in building and enhancing our people programs, HR processes, and employee experience to support our culture and future success.
Working closely with the HR Consultant, you'll serve as a trusted on-site HR partner across the organization鈥攂alancing day-to-day HR operations with opportunities to improve processes, implement scalable programs, coach managers, and strengthen our culture. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence how Spryte grows by helping build the people, processes, and culture that support our continued success. Essential Responsibilities
Deliver an exceptional employee experience through effective HR programs, systems, and day-to-day support. Responsibilities include:
Employee Experience & HR Operations
- Develop and implement new hire onboarding activities, including scheduling, training, and preparing documentation.聽
- Continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes to create an exceptional employee experience.聽
- Administer employee benefits, including new hire enrollment, annual open enrollment, 401(k), COBRA, leave administration, and workers' compensation.聽
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment documentation requirements.聽
- Manage and optimize Paylocity, including reporting, system enhancements, and implementation of best practices.聽
- Serve as the primary Paylocity administrator for recruiting, performance management, goal setting, and other system functionality.聽
Employee Relations & Manager Partnership
- Build trusted relationships with managers and employees by providing guidance on employee relations matters while fostering a positive, respectful, and high-performing work environment.聽
- Advise managers on HR policies, employment practices, and applicable employment laws Partner with leaders to support company policies, practices, and people initiatives that align with Spryte's culture and business objectives.
Talent Acquisition & Organizational Development
- Support recruiting efforts, including job description development, posting positions, coordinating interviews, and assisting with hiring activities.聽
- Coordinate HR compliance training and company-wide learning initiatives.聽
- Support performance management, onboarding, compensation, and other talent management programs.聽
- Design and implement scalable HR programs and processes that improve efficiency and enhance employee experience.
Culture, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Champion Spryte's culture by partnering with leadership on employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, events, and culture-building activities.聽
- Partner with external legal counsel, as needed, to ensure compliance with employment and immigration laws.聽
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve HR processes, systems, and services as the organization grows
Requirements
聽聽
Experience & Qualifications聽
- Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in a relevant field聽
- Experience supporting employees in the medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or broader life sciences industry is highly desirable
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scaling organization is highly desirable. Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established organizations is a plus
- Experience developing, executing, and maintaining new HR projects and programs to meet company needs聽
- Strong working knowledge of HR and Recruiting systems (preferable Paylocity)
- Interest in helping to build and design scalable HR processes
- A quick-learning self-starter who is comfortable jumping into a new situation and making a difference
- Attention to detail and enjoy variety in your job
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken) and are able to work graciously with a wide range of people
- Great at diagnosing problems using your critical thinking skills and then devising innovative solutions
- Highly adaptable to changing priorities and can adeptly pivot to meet emerging needs in a fast-paced environment聽
- Able to apply the highest level of confidentiality regarding employee and candidate records
- Demonstrated flexibility and professional maturity to readily understand priorities and anticipate needs
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint along with experience setting up systems and databases
