Responsible for managing recovery efforts, coordinating vendor activities and supporting
asset disposition. Collaborate closely with customers, vendors and internal teams to
ensure efficient operations, compliance with established procedures, and positive
resolution outcome. Assessing borrower situations, negotiating payment solutions, and coordinating recovery or repossession activities when necessary.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and track repossession logistics, sale preparation, and asset disposition activities.
  • Coordinate with auctions and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate handling
  • of repossessed assets.
  • Oversee account recovery processes, including payment negotiations and ACH
  • management.
  • Conduct inventory audits and analyze performance metrics to support operational
  • effectiveness.
  • Responsible for complying with state laws, policies and company procedures
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in loss mitigation, repossession, or auto finance preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to audit performance and interpret data.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly in escalated customer
  • interactions.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of Collateral Protection Insurance helpful
  • Insurtrak knowledge is helpfulSkills:
  • Basic Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer) required
  • Typing of 45 wpm
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills

Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience working in a claims environment required
  • 1-3 years of general office experience required

Work Conditions:

  • May be required to sit for long periods of time
  • May be required to file documents in standard filing cabinets, which can involve
  • bending, reaching and stooping.
