We are looking for a Garde Manger to join the Fiddler’s Family and share their passion for hospitality with our members, guests, and fellow staff members. Fiddler’s Elbow hosts a wide range of events from comedy shows and concerts to Fourth of July celebrations and New Year’s Eve festivities, our annual FiddleFest Music and Food Festival, Member White-Out Party, golf outings and sporting events. We also host smaller clubs within the Club, such as our beloved Book Club and Cigar Club. Our members host many private events like weddings, social events, and celebrations of life milestones.Â
The Garde Manger's duties will consist of assisting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef with daily tasks. They will aid in the preparation and service of 'cold-side' plates. Â

Essential Functions:Â
- Prepare appetizers, salads, garnishes, fresh vegetables & desserts for both lunch and dinner service
- Prepare all salad dressings and other cold saucesÂ
- Prepare hors d’oeuvres and all cold stations needed for weddings
- Prepare food in accordance to Club recipes
- Maintain a cleanly work area
- Stay current on OSHA regulations and chemical handling procedures
- Ensure proper storage of leftover products for future use
- Maintain professional appearance and proper cleanliness standards
- Advise Executive and Sous Chef in the event of food and/or equipment shortages
- Assist in preparation of food for all staff
- Remain current on HACCP regulations and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisorÂ

Required Education/Experience:Â
Culinary Arts degree and/or 2 years' related experience preferred
Required Qualifications and / or certifications:Â
- Must be a citizen of the USA or possess a valid work permit
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:Â
- Conditions in the kitchen are sometimes hot, cold and humid
- Occasionally lift 50 pounds, frequently lift 20 pounds
- Be on feet for extended periods of time
- Utilization of both hands
