Position Summary

While reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for packing products in a quick, safe, and efficient manner. Excellent attendance is crucial to the team's success. This role requires a proven ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborate across departments, identify defects on the packing line, and maintain a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. You will take pride in your hands-on abilities, analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail while supporting ThermoSafe’s operational excellence.

Safety is the #1 priority at all times

Pack products accurately and efficiently to meet production requirements.
Collaborate closely with production teams and other departments.
Maintain a high regard for 5S and workplace organization standards.
Troubleshoot production issues and respond effectively to changing situations.
Monitor and report on the quality of manufactured products.
Consistently move product and place it in designated pack-out locations throughout the shift.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.
Perform all duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Support ThermoSafe’s quality and safety policies and procedures.
Assist other departments as needed to meet operational demands.
Work overtime as required.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Strong sense of urgency with a "get it done" attitude.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working knowledge of manufactured products and quality requirements.
Reliable, committed, self-motivated, and quality focused.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
Ability to perform repetitive duties, including climbing stairs and standing for extended periods.
Ability to work quickly while maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Preferred

Previous forklift certification and experience safely operating a forklift.
Experience with 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience supporting quality and safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to identify defects and maintain high quality standards.
