Position OverviewÂ
- As a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA), you will support client assessments and help guide organizations through the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) process. You will work as part of an assessment team to conduct mock and certifying assessments, contribute to gap analysis efforts, and help validate evidence aligned to CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 requirements.Â
- This role is client-facing and requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and client stakeholders.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Support CMMC mock assessments, certifying assessments, and other evaluations for OSC organizations. Â
- Assist with validating and documenting client security control implementations aligned with CMMC and NIST SP 800-171. Â
- Collect, analyze, and organize assessment evidence and artifacts to support accurate reporting.Â
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to status updates, discussion of findings, and follow-up items.Â
- Help identify compliance gaps and contribute to remediation guidance and improvement planning.Â
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation, supporting high-quality assessment packages and deliverables.Â
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve assessment processes and support consistent methodology execution.Â

Required QualificationsÂ
- 5+ years of information/cybersecurity experience within the federal contracting or DIB space.Â
- Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171, 800-53, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). Â
- Experience supporting CMMC assessments, compliance programs, government cloud environments, or Zero Trust principles. Â
- Current CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA)Â credential.Â
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Â
- Industry-recognized certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar (preferred). Â
- Strong written communication skills and ability to document technical controls clearly and accurately.Â

- Employment is contingent upon completing a background check and a drug test. Skills testing may be required during the interview process. Lifting equipment weighing 25 lbs. may be required. Compensation is based on experience. Â
