Position Summary

Bayer Built Woodworks is looking for an organized, resourceful Maintenance Parts Coordinator to support our maintenance team at our busy manufacturing facility in Belgrade, MN.

This role is responsible for managing and ordering the replacement parts, supplies, and components our maintenance team needs to keep equipment operating efficiently. You'll take ownership of maintenance parts inventory, source critical replacement components, manage ordering and returns, and help ensure technicians have the right parts available when repairs are needed.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance, repair, and replacement parts
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder critical parts and supplies as needed
  • Order parts and components for planned maintenance and emergency equipment repairs
  • Work closely with maintenance technicians to identify and source the correct parts
  • Research vendors, pricing, availability, and lead times to find the best solution
  • Maintain an accurate parts inventory and inventory-control system
  • Receive, organize, label, and properly store incoming parts
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, usage, warranties, and returns
  • Process warranty claims and parts returns within required timeframes
  • Maximize vendor discounts and stock-order programs when appropriate
  • Help identify opportunities to improve parts availability and reduce equipment downtime
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient maintenance parts area
  • Assist with other maintenance or production-related needs when necessary

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, mechanically minded, and comfortable taking ownership of the parts-ordering process.

  • 1–2+ years of experience in parts, maintenance, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, equipment service, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and inventory-management skills
  • Ability to identify, research, and source mechanical and electrical components
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory/order systems
  • Ability to analyze reports, inventory levels, and parts usage
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work with urgency when equipment is down
  • Ability to work effectively with maintenance technicians, production teams, vendors, and suppliers
  • Basic understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance practices
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment is a plus
  • Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or associate degree is a plus
