JOB SUMMARY:
Check paint, acetone, and catalyst levels daily. Apply paint to doors, frames and misc. product. Maintaining spray equipment and booths.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain paint levels
- General spray equipment maintenance
- Spray painting
- Quality checks before and after
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help other departments as needed
- Clean up
- Watching line
- Housekeeping – booth, paper, etc.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proper and consistent spray technique
- Identify and know colors
- Product knowledge
- Reading paperwork
- Good communication skills
- Follow instructions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year previous experience
Daily Work Expectations: To work together with other sprayers to get daily production needs met before cleanup. Meet quality of work to customer expectations. Finish day’s production. Work at a steady pace. Maintain clean work area. Quality checks. Assist other areas as needed. Daily clean up.
Work Environment/Conditions:Â Prefinish facility. Spray booths. Heated, non-air conditioned shop. Concrete floors.
Required Work Hours: Flex schedule according to workload (35-60 hour weeks) Monday-Friday with typical start time between 6:00-8:00 am. End time varies with production needs.
PPE Required:Â Safety glasses. Respirator when spraying.
