Now Hiring: Food & Beverage Attendant
Location: EVEN Hotel Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport

Essential Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize the station and cook all food necessary to begin service.
  • Ensure all food is stored in proper containers and maintained at appropriate storage and holding temperatures in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Maintain work areas, countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration units in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with company, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Report to work on time, in proper uniform, and ready to perform assigned duties.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to the position.
  • Support and embrace the company's O’Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Morning Prep Duties

  • Inspect equipment and report any issues to the Kitchen Manager.
  • Install exhaust filters for the prep area as needed.
  • Preheat prep ovens to 350°F and preheat the flat-top grill.
  • Line trash receptacles with clean liners and place them in designated prep areas.
  • Inspect steam kettles and refill with distilled water as needed.
  • Meet with the Kitchen Manager to review production priorities and special assignments.
  • Gather and organize utensils and tools needed for prep operations.
  • Complete assigned prep work according to production sheet pars.
  • Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations and walk-in coolers.
  • Assist on the cook’s line as directed by the Kitchen Manager.

Evening Prep Duties

  • Meet with the Kitchen Manager to review prep priorities and special assignments.
  • Inspect equipment and report any issues to the Kitchen Manager.
  • Gather and organize utensils and tools needed for prep operations.
  • Complete assigned prep work according to production sheet pars.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations and walk-in coolers.
  • Assist on the cook’s line as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
  • Consistently serve high-quality food products.
  • Break down products into appropriate storage containers.
  • Clean and organize coolers, freezers, and storerooms.
  • Drain and refill ice pans as needed.
  • Review freezer pull lists and prepare accordingly.
  • Properly store and label all food products with dates and identification.
  • Ensure all electrical and gas cooking equipment is turned off and gas valves are set to the pilot position at the end of the shift.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of cooking experience preferred.
  • Culinary degree preferred.

Hours

  • Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, schedules may include mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.

Physical Requirements of the Position

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach overhead, and carry food products and kitchen supplies.
  • Must be able to transport food and cooking utensils weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • May occasionally be required to lift more than 40 pounds.

Physical Activity of the Position

  • Standing for extended periods.

  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
